When new members join forum discussions their email notifications are disabled by default.

They have to be enabled, otherwise they might miss the replies from the conversation they've started or contributed to.

This has been fixed in the newest update. New forum members won't miss important notifications about new replies in their threads or new mentions on our forum.

All new users are not automagically subscribed to email notifications when someone replies to their threads or mentions them on our forum. Yay to better engagement and lots of fun discussions!
